IT IS SAFE TO BE IN YOUR BODY
For a long time I didn't know what it meant to BE in my body. Until the summer of 2011, when I moved in with mom for 3 months and I needed something to do. I challenged myself to start jogging and try out this yoga thing I had heard about. Between experiencing my first glimpse's of runners high and laying in savasana at the end of a sweaty yoga class, I knew there was a WORLD of connection I was missing out on. Since then I've been exploring different ways to exercise and challenge my body. I like bringing community together around movement and music, and I teach yoga in high schools and office buildings. I incorporate intuitive dance anywhere I see fit, including at the stop light on my walk across town.

Don't you wish you had yoga when you were 14?! I love helping teens build a toolbox for stress management. I've taught with RISE Yoga for Youth in high schools and led classes for younger kids, ages 4-12. Let's get your littles taking full and deep breaths!
